I am a freelance journalist currently based in Warwick. 

 

Having completed an NCTJ-accredited Journalism course at Staffordshire University, I am now looking forward to my next challenge and would welcome the chance to discuss suitable roles in and around journalism.

 

Throughout my degree, I have developed practical skills in print media, multimedia and social media that have equipped me well for the next step in my career. I enjoy working with other people and thrived on being part of a wider team during work placements at high profile magazines in London such as NME & Glamour. I have also expanded my writing skills by contributing regularly to music reviewing websites such as Stereoboard.com, AAAmusic.co.uk and Soundcheck.

 

During the last two years of my degree, I have actually been also employed by the University as a paid part-time tutor, teaching first year & postgraduate students in Shorthand. In addition, I have been a Social Media Ambassador for Microsoft, promoting their products through my social media channels.
